Don't worry, even in Qatar people pronounce in three different ways. I've heard "Cutter," "Cut-tar," and a very authentic-sounding ethnic pronunciation of "Kutharrrr" with a rolled r at the end and an almost "th"-like sound in the middle.
I actually wanted to do a video piece about "How do you say Qatar?", but time slipped away from me and I didn't have a chance to collect the various pronunciations.

I see they weren't taking any chances with the female theater students' costumes!
I also didn't know I was mispronouncing Qatar this whole time.

Nice video!
BTW, there's extra video after the black at the end.
